2/17 – Yokohama

After a long 2 days traveling via bullet train we needed a little rest. We stayed in the area and headed to Yokohama, which is about 30 minutes from Kamoi. We didn’t do much in general, taking a slower day to relax. We walked through the Nissan world headquarters and showroom on the way to Rinko park near Minatomirai (future pier). Which, as you can probably guess it’s next to the water. The west side of Tokyo bay.

This picture doesn’t capture it very well, but this was a sakura (cherry blossom) frappuccino from Starbucks. It was decent, but definitely a flavor that belongs in Japan, as I don’t believe Americans would care for it very much. 😅

Last but not least, I won this in a crane game for Aislyn.

She watched from the sidelines and almost didn’t get me more change when I ran out. But she was super happy when it dropped into the prize slot. 😁
